InstaMP4 is a free tool for downloading publicly available Instagram and Facebook media. We designed it to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what is and isn't collected when you use it.

Links you paste

The links you submit are used only to resolve and fetch the requested media in real time. We do not build a profile of what you download, and generated download links are short-lived and expire automatically.

Information we don't collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and we never request your Instagram or Facebook password. We don't require your name, email, or phone number to use the downloader.

Server logs

Like most websites, our infrastructure may automatically record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. These logs are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.

Cookies & analytics

We may use cookies or privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the site. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing core functionality.

Advertising

Downloaded files are served from Instagram's and Facebook's own content delivery networks. Your use of that content is subject to those platforms' terms and applicable copyright law.

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
